Flunixin Meglumine
China [CN] Flunixin Meglumin (CAS: 42461-84-7, EINECS: 255-836-0), also known as flunixin meglumine, is a 1:1 complex salt of flunixin and meglumine. It is an off-white solid veterinary NSAID API with combined molecular formula C₁₄H₁₁F₃N₂O₂·C₇H₁₇NO₅ and molecular weight of 491.46. The compound melts at 136.6–137.4°C, showing a specific optical rotation range of -9 ~ -12 ° (c=12, methanol, 20°C). It features excellent water solubility and can be stably stored at room temperature. Available as injectable-grade bulk raw material, 98% high-purity standard reference substance and 100ppm standard solution, it is widely applied in veterinary anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic pharmaceutical manufacturing and laboratory analytical testing.
