Pralidoxime Iodide
China [CN] Pralidoxime Iodide, also named Pyridine-2-carboxaldoxime methiodide, has CAS No. 94-63-3 and EINECS No. 202-349-6, with molecular formula C₇H₉IN₂O and molecular weight of 264.06. It is a light yellow to yellow solid with a decomposing melting point at 220°C and an estimated density of 1.7439. This product dissolves well in DMSO at 250 mg/mL (946.75 mM). It is light-sensitive and requires refrigerated storage at 2–8°C away from light. Marked with Merck number 13,7788 and complete structural identifiers including InChl and InChlKey, it serves as a core pharmaceutical antidote raw material for organophosphorus poisoning treatment, also widely used as lab analytical reagent and fine chemical intermediate for toxicology research.
