Beclomethasone dipropionate
China [CN] Beclomethasone Dipropionate, also known as Beclometasone 17,21-dipropionate, has CAS No. 5534-09-8, molecular formula C28H37ClO7 and molecular weight of 521.04. It is a white chiral steroid solid with a melting point of 117–120°C and specific optical rotation of [α]D +98.0° (c=1.0 in dioxane). This compound is slightly soluble in chloroform, heated methanol and sonicated 1,4-dioxane, requiring sealed dry storage at 2–8°C for stability.
