Zolmitriptan
China [CN] Zolmitriptan, a selective 5-HT1B/1D/1F receptor agonist for migraine treatment, has CAS No. 139264-17-8, molecular formula C16H21N3O2 and molecular weight of 287.36. It is a white to off-white chiral powder with a melting point of 136–141°C and specific optical rotation of [α]D22 -5.79° (c=0.5 in methanol). This compound dissolves in DMSO at 5 mg/mL, can be stored at ambient temperature of 15–25°C as solid powder, and its DMSO stock solution remains stable for up to 3 months at -20°C.
