China [CN] Escitalopram Oxalate, also known as (S)-Citalopram oxalate, has CAS No. 219861-08-2, molecular formula C22H23FN2O5 and molecular weight of 414.43. It is a white to tan hygroscopic powder with a melting point of 152–153°C and specific optical rotation of [α]D +12.31° (c=1, methanol). This compound dissolves in DMSO at ≥15 mg/mL and requires cold storage at 2–8°C to avoid moisture absorption, categorized as BCS Class 1.
