Description
Iptacopan is an oral, reversible, highly selective inhibitor of complement factor B, a key component of the alternative complement pathway. It blocks the formation of C3 convertase, thereby inhibiting excessive complement activation, inflammation, and tissue damage in several complement-mediated diseases.
