Detailed Description
Also known as colistin sulfate, Christian ( Colistin ), polymyxin E ( Polymyxin E ),
colistin, white or almost white powder, odorless, bitter taste with a moist, easily
soluble in water, slightly soluble in methanol, ethanol, soluble in acetone, ethyl
ether, free alkali, slightly soluble in water. Stable in the range of PH3-7.5. Colistin
sulfate produced by Bacillus polymyxa, has strong antibacterial activity against Gram-
negative bacteria, used in the treatment of intestinal diseases caused by Gram negative
bacteria, used as feed additives, and has obvious growth-promoting effect. And
sulfadiazine with better effect.
