The series of PSU-15/ PSU-30/ PSU-45/PSU-60 (hereinafter called the PSUs) are DC24V UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) equipment with large output capacity to provide power uninterruptedly. These products have been designed to meet different requirements
I General
The series of PSU-15/ PSU-30/ PSU-45/PSU-60 (hereinafter called the PSUs) are DC24V UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) equipment with large output capacity to provide power uninterruptedly. These products have been designed to meet different requirements, can deliver 15A , 30A , 45A,, 60A respectively. There is a 50AH standby battery setting in the PSU, a external battery higher than 50AH can be connected too. The PSUs apply AC commercial power as their primary power and battery as standby power. In case of commercial AC power cut, the PSU series can seamless switch to standby power supply automatically.
System Functions
(1) Standby Power Supply Management
1) Battery Charge Mode: Floating charge with constant voltage and constant current, charge voltage is 27.4V，normally charging by the Normal Charge Current. If need boost charge, user can use key operation to obtain a high charge current. But the output current will be less at that time. When user selects Boost Charge Current, after battery is fully charged, the system will return to the state of normal charge current.
2) Switchover between the primary and standby power supply: When the voltage of standby power supply is not lower than 21V, if the primary commercial AC power cut, the system can seamless switch over to the standby power supply automatically. After the primary AC power resumes, the system can seamless switch over to the primary power supply automatically and charge standby battery
3) Over discharge protection: When the standby battery discharge to 20V-21V, the system will disconnect load from the battery to protect the standby power supply. The CPU display will work continuously, until the battery voltage drops to 19V-20V. When the battery voltage is 19V-20V, the display does not work and the quiescent current of the whole system is less than 10mA.
(2) Protective Functions
1) Output Over-voltage Protection: When the output voltage exceeds 30V, the output over-voltage protection takes effect.
2) Over-current Protection: When the output current exceedsover-currentprotecting point, the output over-current protection takes effect, the output Air Circuit Breaker will trip and power supply system send an alarm.
3) Input Under-voltage Protection: When input voltage of the commercial AC power is less than AC190V, the primary power supply is turned off and the standby power supply will power the load.
4) Over-temperature Protection: When the temperature of the internal heat sink exceeds 90℃, the Over-temperature protection takes effect and turn the power supply off.
