The high-voltage line of the electric vehicle is used to connect the charging interface and the battery, the interior of the battery, the battery and the engine and other components, as the carrier of power transmission. Due to the harsh application environment of automobiles, the high-voltage line materials of electric vehicles play a very important role, and the performance requirements of the materials are very high. This is one of the keys to electric vehicle high-voltage lines.


Classification of high-voltage lines for electric vehicles: The core component of new energy electric vehicles is the battery. The first high-voltage line used for battery connection in electric vehicles is an ordinary single-layer high-voltage line; while the motor connection needs to prevent signal interference, OMG adds a shielded single-layer high-voltage line to the shielding layer; due to the harsh application environment of electric vehicles, OMG is used in single-layer high-voltage lines. On this basis, a double-layer high-voltage line with more temperature resistance, wear resistance and better protection has been developed. Therefore, we divide the high-voltage lines commonly used in electric vehicles into three categories: single-layer electric vehicle high-voltage lines, single-layer shielded electric vehicle high-voltage lines, and double-layer electric vehicle high-voltage lines.

Single-layer electric vehicle high-voltage line: mainly used for the connection between devices without shielding requirements, such as the connection between livestock batteries.

Single-layer shielded electric vehicle high-voltage line; mainly used for the connection between devices with shielding requirements, such as the connection between the motor and the inverter.

Double-layer electric vehicle high-voltage line: mainly used in occasions with severe vibration environment, such as the connection between battery and high voltage.


As the carrier for connecting electrical components, the high-voltage wire harness has different lengths, directions and positions in the car. Therefore, when fixing it, the surrounding environment should be considered, and different fixing parts and fixing methods should be selected.
