Shinestar Steel Group, established in 1993 as the key entity by Hunan Development and Reform Commission, is a company group integrated with steel pipe production, domestic & foreign steel products trade, in-house warehousing & logistics and real estate development. The Group owns 7 seamless & welded steel pipe mills and 23 sales subsidiaries throughout China with a total of 1900 employees. Furthermore, with over 300 medium and senior technical professionals and?4.5 billion total assets, the group has been regarded as one of the giants combining steel pipe manufacturing, processing, sales & logistics, and listed "China's Top 500 Private Enterprises and Top 100 Steel Companies".
The group's seamless pipe mills mainly produce various carbon and alloy steel pipes including oil & gas pipe, pressure pipe and mechanical tubing, etc. Also, the group owns 19 cold drawing, 4 hot rolling, 4 hot expanding, 4 tubing & casing, 1 drilling pipe and 2 heat treatment processing lines, enabling it to cover a wide pipe size at8-1200mm with wall thickness 1 - 200mm. Our annual pipe rolling capacity is 550,000 tons/year with OCTG processing capacity 250,000 tons/year and heat treated pipe 150,000 tons/year.
After 2005, the group founded114,219 and660 HFW lines, 2 large diameter813 and1422 JCOE SAWL lines,219-4330 high grade SAWH lines and 2 internal and external anti-corrosion FBE/2PE/3PP/3PE coating lines. The pipe size ranges at10.3-4330 with wall thickness 1-50mm, and annual production capacity is 500,000 tons/year for welded pipe, and 2,000,000 m2/year for anti-corrosion coated pipe. All these moves have helped optimize product structure and content, and created a better market free from low-end fierce competition for our long-term expansion.
