Using this character, it can dissolve all kinds of salts in organic solvents. Crown Ether can chelate cation, and because of possessing of the facing outer organic genes, it can also dissolve in nonpolar organic solvents. At this time, the undissolved anions exist in solvents in the nude. Just for this, it has extremely high activity. Because. Although, Potassium Cyanide cannot dissolve in Benzene, adding in 18-Crown -6, it can not only make the reaction possible, but also make its productivity up to 95%. The toxicity of 18-Crown-6: lethal dose for mouse: 300mg/kg.Irritative to eyes and skin. Method of production: Commonly producing with Williamlin synthesis, accordingly, making Alkoxide react with Alkylogen.
