movement and can be used wherever immobility in the pipe joint is needed, like
a flanged or welded joint.

What are the three types of rigid
coupling?
In Pipe fitting manufacturers, there are three main
types of Grooved rigid coupling 3/4 cast iron Coupling YN01: sleeve, flanged rigid coupling
and clamped. For commercial shafting, a rigid coupling may be a sleeve with the
shafts pressed into each end or it may be a clamping sleeve. The sleeve on each
shaft end may have an external flange with bolt holes.
Grooved rigid coupling 3/4 cast
iron Coupling YN01 couplings connect rotating members such as shafts and
transmit torque and motion. Most rigid couplings are made of aluminum,
steel, or stainless steel.
Rigid materials examples
include corrugated and paperboard boxes, plastic bottles and boxes,
aluminum cans, and glass jars. Popular applications include cereal boxes, glass
bottles of spirits, cans of soup, and laundry detergent bottles.
