Tebipenem Pivoxil is an oral carbapenem antibiotic prodrug.
After absorption, it converts to active tebipenem and shows broad-spectrum activity against Gram-positive, Gram-negative and anaerobic bacteria. It is stable against many β‑lactamases.
It is mainly used for:
