BS EN10028-5 P420M steel plate is a kind of material for boiler and pressure vessel steel. P420M steel plates is characterized by a minimum yield strength of 390-420 MPa and by good weldability,so P420M steel is mainly used to for manufacturing boilers.
EN10028-5 covers the steel grades given in three qualities:
a) The basic series (P...M)
b) Series with low temperature properties down to -40 °C (P...ML1);
c) Series with low temperature properties down to -50 °C (P...ML2).
