Wicker weave, Chinese traditional folk weaving art, has the glorious history. In 10 century A.D., wicker utensils have appeared in people’s daily life. Wicker weaver selects the special wicker as raw material, which has its specific request. For example, sowing need special seed, sandy loam; the sandy loam is prior for its sowing which is at the best water conservation condition. During the period of the material collections, the fresh wicker has been through the procedure of removing its skin, drying up in the sun; Then these wickers have been classified into different groups according to its size, length, and texture, and been placed in well-ventilated place for weaving preparation. After soaking willow strips in water for 40 minutes, the weaver bottoms, inserts the strips at bottom, sets mould parts, knits and brings an end to the weaving according to the wicker items’ design,.
