Fluororelastomer Copolymer Gum (FKM-DS2600) Confirmable with: Q/DYS005-2007 KFM-DS2600 is copolymer of HFP and VDF. Normally it is white or light yellow translucent elastomer whose fluorine content is over 66%. After vulcanizing process, FKM products have excellent mechanical performance, outstanding antioil property(fuel oil, synthesis oil, lubricating oil) and high thermal stability. Note: All of the standard test formulas adopt Bisphenol AF vulcanizing system Main Applications: Widely used in high temperature, aviation, autuomobile, petroleum and chemical industries, oils lubricants, etc. It is mainly used to produce gaskets, O-rings, sealing bowl with metal bone, diaphragms, tube, valve-plate, rolls, etc. Attention: 1. Fluoroelastomer gum has good thermal stability below 260 ℃; It will minimally decompose when placed in the temperature of 260~300 ℃ for a long time, and poisonous HF and fluorocarbon organic compound are produced; When higher than 320 ℃, it will quickly decompose; When it meets fire, it also release poisonous HF and fluorocarbon organic compound. 2. FKM shouldn’t be mixed with metal powder (such as Al and Mg) or animine compound more than 10%. If that happens, temperature will arise and several elements will react with FKM, which will damage the equipment and operators. Package and Storage: 1. Packed in PE bags, then packed carton case. Net weight: 20kg per drum. 2. Stored in dry and clean and cool places. The product is transported according to non-hazardous chemicals. Avoid contamination, sunlight and water. 3. Storage period is one year since production, when exceeding the shelf life, it still can be used as long as it is retested and approved.
