UV-Integrator 1401 ■ Introduction: The Integrator1401 is a high quality UV measuring instrument. The Integrator is used to measure UV energy of different light sources, especially on printing machines. It is ideal to ensure quality control of printing and drying processes. It is measuring an integral in the spectral range from 250-410 nm。 By addition of the incidence of the light quantities during the UV exposure cycle, relative values are calculated. Because of uneven radiation distribution of the UV light source and different type of construction of the measuring devices by different manufacturers, different readings may appear under the same measurement conditions. ■ Instruction for use: 1.Switch on the UV-Integrator. display will show “0”. 2.Place the UV-Integrator with the front facing the conveyor belt. sensor is on the back of the UV-Integrator. The back plate of the UV-Integrator serves as the heat shield. 3.After the UV-Integrator has passed through the conveyor, take the UV-integrator from the conveyor belt in order to read the measuring result. measuring results are shown as: mJ/cm2. 4.Prior to a new measuring sequence, it is necessary to switch “off” and then “on” again. It will reset display “0” automaticallly.Continue as described in Step 2. ■ Attention: 1.Please avoid shaking the UV-Integrator 2.UV-light is hazardous to your health.
