The fireeye HY001HD is a huge leap forward in High Definition action video recorders. It offers many feature found only on professional recroders at 8 times the price!
The HY001HD offers full 1080P HD resolution, with a detachable camera head & 2-inch colour LCD screen for monitoring & playback, The camera features a high quality Canon lens, 8MP high resolution CMOS sensor with global shutter technology.
If you’ve been waiting for an affordable, broadcast-quality sports video system that records 16:9 widescreen True High Definition video and sound, then look no more.
The fireeye HY001HD has a detachable camera head with a fixed wide-angle lens (120 degrees FOV) and separate or attachable recording unit. It’s capable of recording 6 hours on one battery charge/SD card. You can recharge the high capacity Li-Poly battery from a USB port on a computer or from any 240V wall outlet, using the supplied cable and charger.
All recordings are stored on a removable SDHC memory card, making it immune to shocks and vibrations. The memory can be upgraded up to 32Gb, recording up to 17 hours of video.
The High Definition camera and recorder unit has been designed for outdoor use, so it is splash-proof (not fully waterproof or submersible.) A high resolution 2" LCD screen allows for live viewing and playback without additional equipment. You can also play back on anyTV using the HDMI cable supplied. Files can also be transferred via USB cable (supplied) for viewing or editing on your Mac or PC. Most standard software media player, such as VLC or Windows Media Player will play the clips with no special downloads or codecs required.
