Detailed Description
These are self-anchored joints which eliminate the need for thrust blocks at changes in direction, making them particularly suitable for difficult or unsuitable ground conditions such as soft ground or subsidence-prone areas; where space is limited; steep inclines; under rivers and above ground pipelines. The gasket used in this joint system is a locked-in gasket which is a Tyton® seal incorporating metal teeth which lock into the body of the pipe. Tyton® Sit seals can accommodate angular deflection without loss of performance. Available qualities: EPDM and NBR (nitrile) Available diematers: DN 80 - DN 600
