Detailed Description
Description The 5000-200 Transmissometer sensor measures the atmospheric extinction co-efficient, which is the sum of the scattering co-efficient and the absorption coefficient. Application The 5000-200 is specified for assessment of RVR in applications where forward scatter meters cannot be used, due to significant presence of particulates in the atmosphere, thereby causing a contribution to RVR by absorption coefficient, or where the small sample volume of the forward scatter meter cannot be tolerated.
