Shouguang Weihua Chemical Co., Ltd., established in 2003, is engaged in the manufacture, R &D and trade of fine chemicals. With three subsidiaries and a production base, we mainly produce Tetrabromobisphenol A, Bromoethane, 1-Bromobutane etc., which have entered the international markets. In 2002, we established close cooperation with Taiwan Tian Group, which is a senior chemical trade enterprise, on the development of Tetrabromobisphenol A, and this has greatly facilitated our exploration of the world market. With the energetic support of the Shouguang Municipal Government, we took over a land of 100mu in 2004 and built up 5 world-class standard workshops with a total area of over 8,000 sq. meters, and the investment in equipments reached 50million RMB. In 2006, the stales income was 150 million RMB and profit payments and tax turnover 13 million RMB.
We always attach great importance to enterprise management under the guide of ISO9000 international standards. And in Jan. 2005, we passed the ISO9001: 2000 Quality Management System. We also have obtained certificates with ISO14001 and OHSMS18000.
We boast a high-caliber, experienced and red-blooded management team. At present, we have 262 staff members, 60% of whom are graduates from chemical colleges and universities. Keeping to the H.R. Philosophy of "Respect Talents, Hunger for Talents", we have been always strengthening the training and improvement of employees, and many of our department managers have obtained the Bachelor's Degree in EMBA from Tsinghua University.
