VAS 5052 was designed especially for mobile use or to be used as a second or third tester. The tool works with cars belonging to VW Group (SEAT-AUDI-VW-SKODA). The scan tool mode of operation allows the prescribed transfer of data within the scope of the European On-Board Diagnosis (E-OBD) from and to exhaust gas influencing control units from all vehicle manufacturers. Service information such as service schedules, current flow diagrams etc (ELSA) are shown on the screen and thus considerably reduce the amount of paper needed for conveying such information. The necessary information is available directly at the vehicle and is very up-to-date.
