Detailed Description

Product Overview

Foam-Flex 047 is foam-core low-loss flexible microwave coaxial cable with FEP outer jacket, overall outer diameter 1.48mm, 28AWG conductor construction. It follows universal industry dimensional standards and is compatible with mainstream RF connectors: SMA, 2.92mm, 2.4mm, 1.8mm, 1.0mm etc.
The cable adopts double-layer composite shielding: spiral-wrapped silver-plated copper strip (100% full coverage shielding) plus outer silver-plated copper braided shield, enabling repeated flexing while reaching outstanding shielding effectiveness over -100dB @1GHz. Its electrical performance matches MIL-DTL-17 semi-rigid cable, yet owns excellent flexible property same as RG flexible wire, and can directly replace traditional semi-rigid / semi-flex coaxial cables with standard semi-rigid connectors. Core insulation is low-density foamed PTFE (LD-PTFE), greatly reducing dielectric loss and cable weight for low-loss high-frequency transmission.
