Mesh Count (Mesh/Inch): Common options include: 20, 30, 40 60, 80, 100 ,150, 200, 300,500 mesh. These mesh counts determine the number of openings per linear inch and directly affect filtration precision and airflow.
Wire Diameter: The wire diameter typically ranges from 0.03 mm to 0.5 mm (approximately 0.0012″ to 0.02″). Examples: 20 mesh → ~0.40 mm; 100 mesh → ~0.12 mm; 300 mesh → ~0.05 mm.
Aperture Size (Opening Size): The opening size or aperture is inversely related to mesh count and wire diameter. Available ranges: Coarse Mesh: 1.0 mm – 0.5 mm; Fine Mesh: 0.2 mm – 0.05 mm; Ultra-Fine Mesh: as small as 0.03 mm (30 microns). Aperture tolerances are typically within ±5%.
Thickness: The overall fabric thickness ranges from 0.08 mm to 1.0 mm, depending on the weave style and wire size. For example: 100 mesh with 0.12 mm wire → ~0.16 mm thickness; 30 mesh with 0.4 mm wire → ~0.6 mm thickness.
Roll Width: Standard roll widths include: 1.0 meter (39.4 inches); 1.2 meter (47.2 inches). Custom widths available up to 1.5 meters (59 inches) depending on production capacity.
