Nylon Mesh Biopsy Bags For Tissue Embedding Procedures Used in Medical Center And Laboratory


The biopsy bag has been developed in response to demand from histology laboratories for alternatives to biopsy paper and foam biopsy pads. The bags hold the biopsy sample during processing.


Instruction: 


1, Put the specimen in the bag and fold its end;

2, Put it in a standard biopsy cassette, proceed as a usual processing;

3, After processing, extract the bag from the cassette, open it with care peeling the edges;

4, Extrac the specimen and embed it in a paraffin.


Description of Share Biopsy bag:

  • Made from nylon mesh or polyester with precise mesh diameter
  • Ultrasonic welding make the edge without any fray
  • Used to hold small biopsy and histological specimens during processing
  • Simply insert specimen, fold bag to enclose cassette or capsule, and process
  • Allow unrestricted fluid movement around tissue
  • Reduce cross-contamination and pressure artifacts often found with using sponges
  • Reduce risk of small specimen loss
  • Remove specimen rapidly with convenient peel-open bag
  • Available with or without flap (7mm flap)
