K9 Plano convex cylindrical lens can turn the light emitted by a light emitting point into a line. Surface light can be generated by placing two Plano convex lenses perpendicular to each other or in the intersecting direction. The total focal length is the sum of each focal length.

K9 plano convex cylindrical mirror can see the transmittance of near infrared (350-2000nm).


The plano convex cylindrical lens forms a linear image, which is used to control the size of only one direction of the beam. The material of this lens is BK7, so it is not suitable for ultraviolet wavelength. Compared with spherical lens, the manufacturing of plano convex cylindrical lens is more difficult. Materials (texture, bubble, impurity, uniformity) shall be selected reasonably, and factors affecting scattering (scratch, dent, gloss) shall be paid attention to, and high-quality grinding shall be carried out. It can be divided into uncoated and visible band coated antireflection multilayer lenses. The design wavelength of the lens is 546.1 nm (E-line of green mercury line). Since the focal length changes with the wavelength, when it is used for other wavelengths, the focal length also changes.


Plano convex cylindrical lens is a lens with the curvature of convex lens in the vertical direction and no curvature in the horizontal direction. It is used in the experiment of condensing laser into thin line shape, or in fluid measurement.
