The beam bolster is used to support reinforcement at the appropriate height in the soffit of a beam form. The legs are spaced 2-1/2" on the centre and are spot welded to resist bending. When the runner is spot welded to the leg along its full length, it becomes the beam bolster upper, which provides support for the level of the upper reinforcement.A bearing beam for construction has a pair of spaced-apart frame members and a plurality of cross members extending in the spaced relationship between the spaced-apart frame members. The spaced-apart frame members have a substantially rectangular configuration and a plurality of openings formed there through. The pair of spaced frame members and the plurality of cross members are integrally formed together from a polymeric material. The openings in the pair of spaced frame members have a substantially rectangular shape.
