Choose the alarm multiplier (0.1–100.0). When you set AS: ACT option on the BND: ACT submenu (page 25) to MULT or BOTH, the monitor multiplies all the alarm setpoints and display scale for channel 1 during the start-up period. The start-up period is defined by the STARTUP option in the DELAYS submenu (page 32). During the start-up period, the alarm action is not affected by the machine speed (it ignores the speed bands). A value of 1 does not change the alarm setpoints at all. Values greater than 1 increase the setpoints so that the machine can pass through critical speeds without tripping an alarm.
