The company LLC Nefteproduct, situated in Lebedyn, Sumy Region, Ukraine, produce automobile oils under its own trademark “Optimal”. MINERAL AND HYDROCRACKING BASE OILS WITH A HIGH VISCOSITY INDEX ARE APPLYING FOR MANUFACTURING OF “OPTIMAL” OILS.
The petroleum base oils, purified by the method of hydrocatalytic cracking, are received from a special hydroconversion technology, at which the hydrocarbons of all groups and compounds of all classes included in the oil composition, under the influence of hydrogen in the presence of specific catalysts at elevated temperatures and pressures undergo great transformations. As a result, oils with an improved molecular structure, which have high resistance to mechanical, thermal and chemical influences, as well as stability of properties in the period of operation, are obtained.

By their properties, hydrocracking oils is approaching the properties of synthetic oil. They have very high thermo-oxidative stability, which allows maintaining the operational properties of oils for a long time, which guarantees reliable operation of the engine until the next oil change.

The hydrocracking base oils which are used to produce Optimal motor oils and have a high viscosity index, which allows them to maintain fluidity at low temperatures and provide reliable lubrication at high temperatures.

MODERN MULTIFUNCTIONAL PACKAGES OF ADDATIVES ARE APPLIED IN THE MANUFACTURING OF «OPTIMAL” OILS.
Multifunctional additive package is a picked composition of thickener, detergent, dispersant, anti-wear, antioxidant, anti-foam, antiscoring additives, corrosion inhibitors and some other additives. The thickener additives are of particular importance. As a rule, these are oil-soluble organic polymers, and the mechanism of their action is based on the change in the shape of the macromolecules, depending on the temperature. These additives can significantly increase the viscosity of the product at positive temperatures and very slightly – with negative ones. For an automobile’s engine it is good in that: firstly, good starting properties are provided at low temperatures, and secondly, the sufficient bearing capacity of the oil layer is guaranteed at high, even extreme, thermal loads.
