IntroductionVG500 vertical gyroscope is a low-cost, high performance inertial measurement device used for measuring the attitude parameters (roll and pith) as well as angular velocity and acceleration of carriers in motion. Deviation of attitude and angular velocity can be estimated optimally by 6-state Calman filtering with appropriate gain. It is a product applicable to dynamic measurement of navigation and positioning. High-quality and reliability MEMS accelerometer and gyroscope have been adopted in BWD-VG500 together with optimal algorithm to guarantee accuracy of measurement. Besides, seal design as well as strict techniques allows the product to measure the accurate motion parameters of the carrier such as angular velocity, acceleration, and attitude, etc. With nonlinear compensation, perpendicular compensation, temperature compensation, and drift compensation, etc, the error sources of BWD-VG500 can be significantly eliminated so as to improve the overall accuracy. Equipped with digital interfaces, it is easy for BWD-VG500 to be integrated into user’s system.
