1.It can be used as new type feed additive for feeding industry, adaptable for sorts of acidogenic mold inhibitor of feedstuff. It has the function of preventing diarrhea and dysentery and promoting digesting and absorbing to improve the animal healthy. Used for piglets, can promote appetite and decrease the rate of diarrhea piglets, weight effect is remarkable. A few weeks after weaning piglets, 1.5% of the calcium formate is added in the feed, can make the piglet growth rate increased by more than 12%, feed conversion rate increased by 4%.
2. Calcium formate can be used as quick solidification agent, lubricant agent and early strength agent of cement. As concrete accelerator, it can improve the early strength, reduce setting time and water volume. Besides, it can be widely used in the production of high grade leather and many other chemicals.
