Cutter Suction Dredger
Product description
JLCSD series dredgers can apply to most kinds of geologic structures and can be widely used in mineral digging,port dredging and reclamation works. By absorbing advanced technology of Dutch and American related products, this series of dredgers show their characteristics of rational design,all hydraulic control,simple operation,little maintenance and strong power. The capacity of JLCSD dredgers range from 100m3/hr to 1000m3/hr,dredging depth range from1m to 25m and discharge distance range from 500m to 3000m,which can satisfy different work demands.
How the dredger work
The spud is drawn in, and the anchors are placed at a sufficient distance outside the cut. The ladder is then lowered and the suction mouth submerged, before the pump is started. Water flow then begins and the cutter starts to rotate. Finally, the ladder is lowered and the soil-water mixture can be sucked up.
There are three basic operations involved in the moving or repositioning of the dredger in order to begin production. These are:
The winch,anchor,and cutter is connected by wire rope.When the anchor is hauled by starboard winch and paid out of the portboard winch ,the cutter moves right.When the anchor is hauled by portboard winch and paid out of the starboard winch,the cutter moves left.The portboard winch and starboard winch alternately performs the task of hauling and paying-out,meaning the cutter follows an arc from starboard to portboard and back again.
The spude includes main spud and auxiliary spud.When the dredger is working,the main spude is dragged into the soil to fix the machine and the other is in the air.When the dredger needs to move forward,it swings at a certain angle .The auxiliary spud is pushed in the ther earth by hydraulic ram,and the main spude is pulled up.Then the dredger moves forward step by step.
When a certain distance hs been covered while in the same position,the anchor must be moved forward to guarantee the dredger work normally.
