Detailed Description
The kit is designed for semi-quantitative detection of maturity of human spermatozoan nucleoprotein.

Features:

1. A modified method with better repeatability and specificity in test result than competitive products.
2. Adjusted by turbidimetry. Not necessary to adjust by the counting of sperm concentration, convenient to operate
3. Stable with a storage life up to one year.
4. 40 tests per kit and meet the need of batch testing.

Applications in clinic:

In normal circumstances, the basic protein (nucleoprotein) bound to the sperm nucleus DNA will undergo the process of natural maturity from the histone to protamine, of which, such substitute process of histone by protamine is called nucleoprotein transition, which has an important physiological significance. The spermatozoid nucleus carries all genetic information from paternal, and these genes must start the expression after the fertilization. Before the fertilization, the sperm genes are specially protected by the protamine and closely concentrate with no DNA transcription. However, the abnormality of nucleoprotein transition may cause the male infertility or early embryo abortion. The mechanism lies in: A) the instability in sperm DNA and easily to be damaged result in difficulty to get pregnant; B) once fertilized, the spermatozoid nucleus cannot normally depolymerized due to the nucleoprotein pattern, and thereby to influence the binding of female and male pronuclei; C) the abnormal development of embryo may induce to the embryo abortion.
