China [CN] Disodium hydrogen phosphate can be used as a water softener, fabric weighting agent, fire retardant, and is also applied in glazes, welding fluxes, medicine, pigments, the food industry and the production of other phosphates. Emulsifier quality improver, nutritional fortifier, fermentation aid, chelating agent, stabilizer. It is used as a water softener for boilers, a flame retardant for fabrics, wood and paper, glazes and soldering fluxes. It is used for the production of detergents, cleaning agents for printing plates and mordants for dyeing. It is used as a stabilizer for hydrogen peroxide bleaching in the dyeing and printing industry and as a filler for rayon (to enhance the strength and elasticity of the silk). It is a raw material for manufacturing sodium pyrophosphate and other phosphates, and also a culture medium for monosodium glutamate, erythromycin, penicillin, streptomycin and wastewater treatment products, etc. It is also used in electroplating and tanning. It is used as a quality improver, PH regulator and nutritional fortifier in the food industry.
