Midostaurin
China [CN] Midotolin (MS) is an active derivative obtained through structural modification of staurosporine, an indolecarbazole alkaloid isolated from Marine Streptomycosis staurosporine culture medium in 1977. It is commonly known in Chinese as 4 '-N-benzamide -staurosporine. Midostaurin is an inhibitor of multiple tyrosine kinase receptors. On February 19, 2016, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted midostaurin breakthrough therapy status in combination with other chemotherapy drugs for the treatment of adult AML patients newly diagnosed with FLT3 gene mutations. And be granted the treatment of fast-track review. It was approved by the U.S. FDA on April 28, 2017 under the trade name Rydapt. In addition, it has also been approved simultaneously for the treatment of indications such as invasive systemic mastocytosis (ASM) in adults, systemic mastocytosis with hematological malignancies (SM-AHN), and mast cell leukemia (MCL).
