c. Intelligent thermal management. Fans will be turned on or turned off automatically according to internal temperature; when abnormal heavy current is detected, the motor controller will cut off power supply to fan,
d. When a short-circuit takes place in fan, the test mode will start running. If the fan can’t be recovered in three times test, the power to fan will be cut off, and the ESC is still working;
And there are some more protection measures, including low voltage protection, throttle loss protection, abnormal braking protection, over-temperature protection etc.
