A powerful speed controller XC201-E3 comes with:

E3 is a powerful product which is engineered for enthusiasts’ RC cars and trucks. Six months ago, a notable RC car brand contacted us and consulted about technical problems. They wanted to develop a most powerful electronic speed controller ever in RC car industry. Comparing to existing products, E3 is really a power monster.


E3 is high performance with 400A continuous current, 6-12S Lipo, 16-54v power system, as I know, maybe it’s the most powerful motor controller (electronic speed controller or ESC) adopting to sensored or sensorless brushless motor, and supporting 240,000RPM maximum. BEC power is optional (6.0V, 7.4V, 8.4V), providing 10A continuous current, you can select it according the servo specification.

We know that thermal management is important to a powerful electronic device. We design the frame meticulously. With the combination of forged Al case and fin fan, E3 allows max airflow throughout the part to cool critical component down, promoting thermal performance to a new level. With epoxy potted, waterproof design will protect electronics and promote heat dissipation in all weather conditions.

Fan is controlled intelligently by ESC. When the internal temperature of system exceeds 55 Celsius Degree, the fan will be turned on, otherwise, the fan will be turned off. If there is an abnormal heavy current, the ESC will cut off the power to fan, and the ESC will work normally.


Many parameters related to handling can be adjusted by mobile app via Bluetooth communication, such as running mode, number of Li-Po cell, cutoff voltage, throttle rate, braking force, turbo timing, initial PWM, etc. and firmware can be managed on app as well.

Power is one thing, the most important is how can we control it perfect to avoid negative impact? We have designed many protection measures including low voltage, throttle loss, abnormal braking, over temperature, short circuit to fan, and so on.  We need performance, also we need safety.
