Mica Tape consist of the high quality phlogopite mica paper bonded to an glass fiber cloth as the supporting fabric, impregnated with a specially selected high temperature resistance silicon resin. It has high flexibility and high tensile strength.

These properties of Mica make Electrical Insulating Mica Tapes ideal for assembling insulation systems for high-voltage cables in the Electronics Industry. Electrical Insulating Mica Tapes are then backed by a variety of different materials which add unique characteristics and benefits to the tapes.
