Application                                                                          

ANTIOXIDANT HONOX-245 is a partially- hindered phenolic antioxidant that provides excellent processing and long term thermal stability. It is mainly used in the processing and  improvement of long-term thermal stability of styrene polymer such as HIPS, MBS and ABS, engineering plastic such as POM, PA and polyurethane . It is also an effective chain terminator in PVC polymerizations. It can be added into monomers before polymerization when it is used for HIPS and PVC. It can be used with benzotriazoles or HALS for thermal and light stabilization in outdoor use. It exhibits a synergistic effect when it is used in combination with thioester antioxidants.
