The Mazzer Royal reigns as one of the top grinders in the Mazzer line. The Royal packs the most power of any Mazzer grinder we offer: a whopping 900 watts that will have the 83mm grinding burrs spinning at a rate of 1050rpm. With over 1 horsepower, the Royal quickly creates a consistent grind for any kind of coffee or espresso. Its virtually infinite grind settings provide you with completely customizable fineness, so you can find the perfect setting to match your machine. The motor and burrs aren’t the only commercial-grade components on the Mazzer Royal. The clear plastic hopper can hold up to 4 lbs of beans and the ground coffee container can hold up to 360 grams (0.8 lbs). The Mazzer Royal also features a convenient doser so you can always use a consistent amount of ground coffee to pull great espresso shots. With 1 pull of the dosing lever, it will dispense a pre-set amount of coffee right into your portafilter. You can set the doser to dispense anywhere between 5.5 and 9 grams of coffee, making it easy to find the perfect combination of grind and quantity. Plus, the Royal can automatically refill the doser after 12 doses have been dispensed, so you can have a continuous supply of freshly ground coffee. Powerful Motor The Mazzer Royal has a powerful 900-watt motor that will ensure this grinder can handle plenty of use throughout the day. It will have the burrs spinning at up to 1050rpm, providing a fast, consistent grind for your coffee beans. Top Quality Grinding Burrs The durable commercial-grade steel burrs on the Mazzer Royal measure 83mm, creating lots of surface area for fast grinding. Unlike blade grinders, burr grinders won't overheat the beans, so the pure flavors of your coffee remain intact. Simple Controls The Royal has been designed for automatic operation. To start and stop grinding, use the control knob on the lower right side of the machine. The Royal will automatically shut off when the doser is full, or you can switch it off manually. When the control knob is on the Royal will automatically refill the doser after 12 doses have been dispensed. Large Capacity Bean Hopper The Mazzer Royal has an extra-large bean hopper that can hold up to 4 lbs of coffee beans. It is made of durable clear plastic and has a black plastic lid. Dosing Grinder The doser on the Mazzer Royal can dispense a pre-set amount of coffee anywhere between 5.5 and 9 grams. This setting is easily changed by removing the lid of the ground coffee container and turning the knob located in the center. With 1 pull of the dosing lever, 1 dose of ground coffee will be dispensed into a waiting portafilter. Easy Access for Cleaning Only periodic cleaning is needed for the Mazzer Royal. The hopper can be removed and cleaned with non-abrasive detergent and warm water. To clean the burrs, unscrew the grind adjustment disc and remove the top burr. Then, the burrs can be cleaned with a burr cleaning brush and a soft cloth.
