Latin Name: Panax Ginseng L. Plant Source: Dry roots of ginseng (Panax ginseng CA Mey.) CAS No.: 90045-38-8 Active Ingredients: Triterpenoids, of which the presently extracted components contain Ra, Rb1, Rb2, Rb3, Re, Rc, Rd, Rf, Rg etc Characteristic: Fine light yellow powder. Specification: Ginsenoside 5-80%. Description: Ginseng is any one of eleven species of slow-growing perennial plants with fleshy roots, belonging to the genus Panax of the family Araliaceae. Ginseng is an excellent tonic with numerous nutrients such as saponins, panaxosides, Rh2, selenium, vitamin A, etc. Traditional Chinese medicine considers ginseng the king of herbs and uses it for general debility, fatigue, for "pacifying the nerve system and nourishing the brain" and for immune support, energy, mental powder, alertness and maintenance of good health. Main Function : 1. The root of the ginseng plant hasbeen used in China, Japan, and Korea for many centuries as abenefit in psychiatric and neurological conditions, and for enhancing vitality. 2.
