The Structure of Mesh Screen Mesh screen mainly consists of perforated base pipe, inner drainage mesh, inner mesh media, middle drainage mesh, outer mesh media as well as external stainless steel shroud. Internal drainage mesh wrapped on the base pipe, and provides even distribution of flow, it also has the function to support filter media. Inner/outer mesh media is able to meet the requirements of sand control for all sand with different diameters. Middle drainage mesh has the function to separate two layers of filter media, ensuring the accuracy of filtering. It also has the role to provide even distribution of flow for the media. Stainless steel shroud has the role to protect media layers and drainage mesh when going into well or bear the negative pressure. Product Characteristics Multi-layer 316L stainless steel filter media has been adopted, with high reliability and anti-damaging ability in sand control. Add middle drainage layer between two control layers and improve the flow characteristics. High permeability, larger area of flow and production rate is high. Small outer diameter, light weight, easy to push along the long horizontal section. Anti- acid and alkaline, anti-high temperature, long life for use. Simple construction, easy for operation, it benefits to lower the construction expense, and raise the rate of success in construction. Premium screen samples deformed to 75% and 40% of original diameter with virtually no increase in sand production. Application Mesh screen is mainly suitable for barefoot completions especially for oriented well and horizontal well. The particularity of well opening of the horizontal well causes a low rate of success of the traditional gravel packing completion, and of a big risk. Meanwhile, the horizontal well is requested for higher output, the high permeability can be raised by use of Mesh screen, and reduce the rate of blockage, therefore increase the production rate. Specifications The multi-layer structure has been used; the filter media is made by 316L stainless steel wire by use of special technology. The filtration accuracy and rate of hole-making can be controlled via controlling of wire diameter and us mesh to be used.
