Coupling Sleeves

The coupling sleeve is an indispensable part of rock drilling tools for rock drilling. During the drilling process, the coupling sleeve is at the joint part of the matching drill, which bears the corrosion effect of stress such as axial tension and compression, bending and torsion, contact, and friction.

The coupling sleeve used for threaded connection rock drill tools is to use its thread to connect two or more drill rods or shank rods on the same axis, transfer the impact function of the rock drill, and achieve the purpose of drilling rock holes, which is the same as the drill rod. It acts as a stress wave propagation carrier.

Coupling sleeve classification

1. Classification by the geometric structure

There are straight-through coupling sleeves, reducing coupling sleeves, and middle-stop-type coupling sleeves.

2. Classification by thread structure

There are coupling sleeves such as wave thread, compound thread, trapezoidal thread, etc.
