Hebei Zhicheng Fine Chemical Technology Co., Ltd began to develop and produce methyl cellulose and hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose in the late 1970s. It is one of the earliest enterprises producing nonionic cellulose ether in China. Its products have won the 1978 Science Conference Achievement Award. In 2012, the company expanded its production capacity to produce 30,000 tons of non-ionic cellulose ether production line. The production line adopts the first 26m3 large-scale European-style reaction kettle in China. The production process is fully controlled by DCS. The product has good uniformity and stable quality. The production method using toluene as a solvent is a green environmental protection product.
The company relies on advanced production technology and equipment, full-featured R&D center and scientific management of ISO9000 quality system. The production technology has reached the international advanced level, and its products can meet the needs of customers at different levels. At present, four series of methyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose and hydroxyethyl cellulose have been formed, and dozens of specifications of "Zhicheng" brand pharmaceutical excipients and industrial grade products have been formed.
