Detailed Description
Tantalum and tantalum alloy (Ta-2.5W,Ta-10W,Ta-40Nb) tube have high melting point and good corrosion resistance and cold-workability, so they are extensively applied to chemical, High-temperature technology and atomic energy industry. Tantalum and Tantalum alloy tube are mainly used for manufacturing reactor, heat exchanger, tube, bayonet, condenser, screw coil, electric thermocouple and its protector tube, U-shaped tube, reactor and tube for liquid metal.
Tantalum is inert against most acids except hydrofluoric acid and hot sulfuric acid, also hot alkaline solutions cause tantalum to corrode. This property makes it an ideal metal for chemical reaction vessels and pipes for corrosive liquids.
