Description: RTV silicone gasket maker is single-component, non-slumping, Acetate-curing rubber paste that cures to a permanently flexible silicone rubber on exposure to atmospheric moisture at room temperature. It can make almost any gasket instantly, so it can replace most cut gaskets. It forms to any shape instantly and cures fast. After curing, it resists cracking, shrinking and migration caused by thermal cycling. Also, it can work up to 343℃ and of good resistance of oil, water, anti-freeze and transmission fluid. So it's widely used to seal timing chain covers and other different covers. Application: Mainly used for valve covers, water pumps, oil pans, axle covers, thermostats, transmission pans, timing chain covers, and oil pump flanges. Characteristics: 1. Easily use and can be extruded at any time 2. Forms to any shapes instantly, and can cure fast 3. Room temperature curing for engines and gear-boxes 4. Works up to343℃ 5. Excellent and high resistant to weathering, oil, water, air and high and low temperature. 6. Excellent adhesion to most steel materials. Instruction: 1. Clean all surfaces thoroughly. Remove old gaskets and prepare flange surfaces. Dry and remove all oil and grease; 2. Remove the cap, puncture inner seal of the tube, screw on nozzle and cut the nozzle to desired size; 3. Apply continuous, uniform 1~4mm bead around perimeter of one surface. Completely surround all bolt holes; 4. Wait about 10 minutes for silicone to skin over. Then reassemble the parts. 5. Silicone dries to touch in 1 hour and allow 24 hours to fully cure and bond. Caution: 1. Leave thickness for gasket when reassembling. Don't over-tighten the bolts. 2. Sealant releases acetic acid (vinegar-like odor). Use with adequate ventilation. 3. Replace the cap after use Inter Packing: 85g/pcs, 42.5g/pcs, 30g/pcs.
