What is the difference between matt finishing and glossy finishing?
Matt:Matt finish is the most popular finish for business cards. This finish has the ability to apply a beautiful, soft, slightly de-saturated effect, which works best with lighter background colors and gives a non-glare appearance, which doesn’t leave a glossy or shiny look once printed.
Glossy:Glossy finishing is ultra-shiny and adds a high silk sheen. It also helps bring out vibrant colors, making them appear rich and punchy. Printed on a 290gsm stock, it works really well with designs featuring darker backgrounds, as gloss lamination helps hide finger prints and scuff marks.
